In 1979, thirty six years ago, Richard started out as a trainee Building Control Surveyor. Since then he has worked his way up to being a self-employed, fully independent Chartered Surveyor. Richard has been a Member of RICS for fourteen years now. In 2009, he gained his Dip NDEA and then gained his Dip DEA in 2010 – this means that he is fully qualified to provide Energy Performance Certificates for both Domestic and Non Domestic properties.

After being in the building surveying industry for almost forty years, Richard Peat has the vast knowledge and experience that is needed to be a well-known, successful building surveyor. Over the years, he has picked up various skills and techniques enabling him to be able to carry out a wide range of building surveys – from RICS Building Surveys, to Condition Reports, to EPCs. All of his surveys are delivered with professionalism and reliability - Richard is dedicated to maintaining a high quality of standards.
